The cooperative formula, which has been in operation for more than three years now, focuses on task sharing among physicians. In addition to their private practice, physicians share on-call duties in emergency and hospital departments as well as in local health services centres (CLSCs) and extended care facilities (CHSLDs).
  • The region is a model for community services. The Bois-Francs boasts some of the most organized community organizations that can rely on assistance from a large proportion of the local population.
