Territory

A team of commissioners offers support to companies located in both urban and rural areas on the territory of the MRC d'Arthabaska. More commonly known as the Bois-Francs region, our MRC includes 24 municipalities. Four of these stand out because of their greater concentration of manufacturing and service companies.

As the main urban centre in the Bois-Francs region, Victoriaville has the highest number of residents, companies, institutions, businesses and services. Three other urban municipalities also have a significant amount of industrial activity. These are Daveluyville, Kingsey Falls and Warwick, which include a number of dynamic companies recognized as significant forces within the Canadian economy.

However, one should not ignore the prosperity of the other 20 municipalities of the MRC d’Arthabaska, which are of a more rural nature. Some of these municipalities are home to several manufacturing companies. This is the case of Chesterville, Ham-Nord and Saint-Louis-de-Blandford.
